History

Founded and registered in 1951, MAIUG was then known as The Indian University Graduates Associations of Malaya by a group of Indian University Graduates to build a platform for the graduates to serve the Indian community in Malaysia in various ways. Post independence, the society was renamed to Malaysian Association of Indian University Graduates. MAIUG has spread its wing to accept all Indian Graduates from all Universities. As one of the oldest society in Malaysia, MAIUG has transited through various phases to its current activity focusing on a caring society. MAIUG has transformed periodically to become what it is today. The society is now positioned to be a caring civil society.
